Sydney, Australia [May 22, 2025]—Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure, officially opened its newly redesigned regional headquarters in Sydney. Located in Bella Vista, New South Wales, the key location serves as the national head office, and the modernised facility reflects Vertiv’s interest and investment in Australia’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
The upgraded office features flexible workspaces with dedicated collaborative zones, and a suite of modern amenities designed to foster innovation and teamwork. At the heart of the new facility is the Vertiv Customer Experience Centre (CEC)— first-of-its-kind in Australia—where customers, partners, and industry stakeholders can engage with Vertiv’s innovative technologies guided by local subject matter experts.
Australia is fast becoming a regional digital powerhouse. Forecasts suggest that data centre investments will exceed $26 billion by 2030, driven by the nation’s rising demand for cloud services, AI applications, and hyperscale infrastructure. Sydney, in particular, is a critical hub for this growth, acting as a major node in global communications with over a dozen subsea cable connections linking Asia, North America, and beyond.
“Australia and New Zealand are core markets for Vertiv in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Andrew Whall, vice president of operations for Asia and general manager for Australia and New Zealand at Vertiv. “This new space enables us to better serve our customers and partners, while fostering innovation and rapid response from our local team.”
The Vertiv Sydney team includes more than 50 professionals across engineering, sales, technical support, and administration. The Sydney hub anchors the company’s broader presence across the region, including offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Auckland.
“We’re excited to welcome our customers and partners into this new chapter,” added Whall. “Whether supporting hyperscale growth, enabling edge computing, or delivering resilient services, Vertiv is here to power and cool the infrastructure behind Australia’s digital future.”
The official opening of the Sydney headquarters was celebrated with a launch event that brought together Vertiv customers, partners, and staff. Paul Churchill, vice president and general manager for Vertiv Asia, and Andrew Whall, vice president for operations and general manager for Vertiv Australia and New Zealand, attended the occasion to officially open the office and cut the ribbon. Guests explored the Customer Experience Centre and connected with the local Vertiv team—marking a significant milestone in Vertiv’s continued investment in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
