The IMD is a hot-swappable and field-upgradeable network card enabling local and remote monitoring. IMDs can be upgraded in the future to leverage the latest technologies and adapt to changing business needs without having to replace entire power strips.

Features

IMD models available for local metering, remote monitoring, environmental monitoring, and additional enhanced features and functionality. 
The IMD-01D enables input current monitoring. Local high visibility LED display. Input power monitoring available via VLC feature using the Vertiv™ rPDU Scanner app. 
The IMD-03E-S enables Input power monitoring and Circuit/Breaker current monitoring on Basic, Metered, and Monitored Upgradeable models. Environmental monitoring via optional remote sensors. Daisy chain Ethernet connectivity. Local high visibility LED display
The IMD-3E-S network card enables serial communication via RS232 port on outlet level monitored and switched rPDU models. Includes environmental monitoring via optional remote sensors, daisy chain Ethernet connectivity, and a local high visibility LED display.
