Vertiv guarantees that all EIA-310-E certified equipment will fit in to a Vertiv VR Cabinet. If the equipment does not fit, Vertiv will return the End User’s money back.
Background on EIA-310 Specification:
Adopted from the telecommunications industry, the 19” standard has been widely accepted in the IT market since inception. The specification calls out the critical dimensions that are required for IT gear to safely mount in a cabinet. The critical dimensions can be seen below:
Guaranteed Compatibility Eligibility:
- All Cabinet-Mount Equipment meets the 19” EIA Standard 310-E
- Vertiv VR Cabinet is the cabinet in question
- Vertiv is notified within 30 days of purchase that the equipment is not compatible
- The end user is able to send the cabinet in question back and can share the specification for the IT equipment being used
