Our people, our neighbors

The heart of everything we do

Our people

Our Vertiv behaviors guide how we achieve success and our strategic priorities provide the framework for what we strive to accomplish. Through these principles, we seek to cultivate a culture and environment where people can make a difference and accomplish great things. This culture of performance unlocks value for our employees, customers, and stakeholders, enabling Vertiv to achieve its full potential

Equal opportunity

We promote equal opportunity across hiring, employment, mobility, training, compensation, and occupational health, consistent with applicable laws and without discrimination.

Open and inclusive culture

Employees are encouraged to be open and respectful of different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds across our global organization.

Growth and development

We seek to foster a workplace where employees have opportunities to grow, develop, lead, and contribute to positive change.

Employee Resource Groups

Vertiv’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) establish a supportive community where employees feel valued, connected, and informed. Our ERGs also provide opportunities for broad impact by creating a space for sharing diverse cultural knowledge and contributing to the communities where Vertiv employees live and work. Our ERG initiatives include Women at Vertiv Excel (WAVE), Vertiv Pride, and Black Resource and Inclusion Team for Excellence (BRITE).

Our neighbors

Making a difference in our global communities

We are committed to supporting the communities where we operate through volunteer initiatives and corporate philanthropy aligned with business priorities and local needs. We focus on building collaborations at both the national and local levels, directing activities toward defined areas of impact. Below are a few examples:

Coding with Columbus Crew on COSI STEM Day – United States

In partnership with the Columbus Crew and COSI, Vertiv supported a STEM Day that introduced students to real‑world applications of technology in sports. Participants engaged in coding workshops, explored the science behind player analytics, and toured stadium operations, including the data center and Vertiv™ Customer Experience Center. The experience highlighted how technology and engineering concepts are applied across digital infrastructure and professional sports environments.

COSI Big Science Celebration – United States

Vertiv participated in the COSI Big Science Celebration in Columbus, Ohio, joining more than 100 exhibitors to engage the local community through hands‑on science activities. Our exhibit highlighted the Vertiv™ TimberMod™ prefabricated™ infrastructure solution and demonstrated how mass timber construction can reduce material impacts in data center design. Interactive elements, including a virtual‑reality data center experience, provided practical exposure to applied STEM concepts.

Higher education resources – Mexico

Through the Vertiv Cares initiative in Mexico, we supported higher education by donating advanced graphic and video processing equipment to Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana. The contribution expanded the institution’s computing capacity and supported student learning and project‑based coursework. This initiative focused on strengthening local educational resources and supporting practical, technology‑focused learning opportunities for students.

Pelotonia cycling event – United States

Employees participated as part of Team Vertiv in Pelotonia’s Ride Weekend, a Central Ohio cycling event supporting cancer research. Vertiv employees joined thousands of riders and volunteers, contributing through both participation and fundraising efforts. Together, Team Vertiv raised $200,230 for Pelotonia, supported by employee donations and company matching contributions.

Reforestation at La Mesa Ecopark – Philippines

Vertiv employees in Manila partnered with the Manila Water Foundation to support reforestation and watershed protection at La Mesa Ecopark in Quezon City. Volunteers planted native tree seedlings and participated in site restoration and biodiversity education activities. The effort supported local environmental restoration while reinforcing employee engagement in community‑based environmental initiatives.

Tree plantation drive – India

Vertiv employees in Chennai partnered with the Vizhigal Foundation to support a tree‑planting initiative in Ottiyapakkam Village. Employee volunteers planted saplings and engaged with community members to promote environmental awareness. The activity focused on supporting local green spaces and encouraging environmental stewardship within the surrounding community..

WAVE × WARM food drive – United States

The Women at Vertiv Excel (WAVE) Employee Resource Group organized a food drive to support the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) Food Pantry near Vertiv’s headquarters. Employees donated 7,079 pounds of food, providing nearly 5,900 meals to local individuals and families. Contributions included essential pantry and household items distributed through WARM’s community food programs.

Treedom Vertiv Forest - Global

Launched in 2022 in collaboration with Treedom, the Treedom Vertiv Forest supports tree‑planting initiatives that deliver environmental and community benefits. As of 2025, the program has resulted in 5,186 trees planted across 12 countries spanning four continents.
