Executive Vice President, Infrastructure Business Unit and Global Operational Excellence
Jason Forcier is Executive Vice President of the Global Infrastructure Business Unit for Vertiv where he is responsible for leading the large infrastructure product offerings. In addition, Jason leads Global Operational Excellence; overseeing quality, procurement, and the global coordination of our manufacturing operations and footprint with focus on our lean operating initiatives.
Prior to joining Vertiv, Jason spent eight years at A123 Systems, a leading global maker of lithium ion batteries. At A123, he was the Chief Executive Officer from 2013 until 2017 and member of the board of management.
Jason joined and established the automotive business of A123 in 2009 and was a member of the executive management team that led A123 through its highly publicized IPO on the NASDAQ. In 2013, he guided the company through a sale and restructuring process that focused on its core automotive business and ultimately culminated in a remarkable turnaround.
During his tenure at A123, Jason established and chaired the company’s Chinese joint venture and held the company’s board seat at Fisker Automotive.
Prior to joining A123 Systems, Jason served as Vice President and General Manager of Lear's global electronics business and as the North American President, Automotive Electronics for Robert Bosch LLC. Over the course of his 12-year career with Bosch, he was also a co-founder and CEO of ETAS, Inc., a Bosch Subsidiary.
Jason earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University) and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
