- Built-In Redundancy: It has module-level N+1 redundancy for power and battery, which eliminates single points of failure, so critical loads remain protected even during maintenance or component failure.
- Online Double Conversion Topology: Its true online design with zero transfer time and internal automatic bypass protects your devices against all power anomalies (sags, surges, harmonics) and provides clean, conditioned power for sensitive IT loads.
- High Output Power Factor: With 0.9 power factor per module (5 kVA / 4.5 kW), it delivers more usable power in the same footprint, optimizing rack and floor space.
- Intelligent Battery Management: It has temperature-compensated charging for VRLA and integrated BMS for Lithium-Ion. This management extends battery life, reduces replacement costs, and provides real-time health monitoring for predictive maintenance.
- Flexible Runtime Options: Add battery modules or external battery cabinets for extended backup. Scale runtime without taking the load offline, which is ideal for evolving site requirements.
- Remote Monitoring & Control: It comes with factory-installed Vertiv™ Liebert® IntelliSlot™ RDU120 card with Vertiv™ LIFE™ Services. This enables secure remote management, predictive analytics, and proactive service to maximize uptime.
- Compact, Versatile Deployment: It allows tower or rack configuration with optional PODs for varied outlet types. This fits diverse IT and edge environments with simplified installation and adaptability.

The Liebert APS is a modular, single phase output UPS, with both single and three phase input options to provide both high availability and flexibility. The Liebert APS adapts efficiently and effectively to both immediate and evolving power requirements, offering capacity on demand with flexible power modules which allow capacity upgrades in 5 kVA/4.5kW increments up to 20 kVA N+1.
