Vertiv readies partners for customer demands brought on by edge computing, digitalzation and other disruptive trends in the data center and wider IT landscape

Sunrise, FL [April 25, 2019] – Vertiv today announced the launch of the Vertiv Partner Program designed to empower distributors and resellers to meet the complex customer demands around edge computing, digitalization and other disruptive trends facing today’s data center and wider IT landscape. The Vertiv Partner Program will facilitate the sales and marketing of Vertiv digital infrastructure products and services for the company’s growing eco-system of partners across the Latin America region. 

Through the Vertiv Partner Portal, partners will have access to sales and marketing tools that will allow them to grow their businesses and remain competitive. Key features include:

  • Vertiv University: A cloud-based learning tool providing “Edge Solutions Partner” channel certification.
  • A Deal Registration Tool:Authorized partners can protect their investment in finding and developing a project.
  • A Marketing Automation Tool:Vertiv provides partner-personalized syndicated web content, web banners and collateral material to enhance their marketing efforts.
  • A Product Selector: Creates Vertiv online product content for deployment to a partner website, facilitating ecommerce.
  • Access to Co-op Funds: Partners who reach Platinum and Diamond status may earn funds to assist with key marketing and/or business-related initiatives. Partner levels begin at Solution Provider and escalate through levels up to Solution Provider Platinum and Solution Provider Diamond, based on sales volumes.
  • Vertiv One: Partners can earn points for selecting and selling Vertiv products. They can redeem these points toward merchandise, digital vouchers, a digital Visa card and gift cards. 

Additionally, partners will gain access to a dedicated team of sales and technical specialists to assist at every stage of the sales cycle.

Over the past year, Vertiv has invested in ongoing, in-depth research to define four main edge computing archetypes and identify the most mature cases to be enabled by 5G, which will present the clearest and immediate commercial opportunities for its ecosystem of partners.
