Vertiv has been a proponent of edge computing for a number of years now and has taken an active role in driving this industry forward, notably in its creation of the Edge Archetypes in 2017. In 2021, it updated this with “Edge Archetypes 2.0 – Deployment-Ready Edge Infrastructure Models”, to standardize and streamline edge computing deployments. I am looking forward to see what’s to come in 2022, as it continues to push the boundaries when it comes to power, cooling and infrastructure solutions and services that are purpose-built for the edge.
