Vertiv™ CoolChip Econophase CDU

Designed to remove barriers to liquid cooling in air-cooled environments, the CoolChip Econophase CDU is a liquid-to-fluid distribution unit for direct-to-chip and rear door cooling applications that offers easy, cost-effective deployment in any data center. Designed for the streamlined deployment of high-density applications, the unit operates with pumped refrigerant economization (PRE) heat rejection technology, removing the need for on-site chilled water. Internal components chill the secondary fluid network, allowing you to tap into the benefits of direct-to-chip and rear door applications to more efficiently support higher rack densities without incurring the costs of major infrastructure changes.

Compatible with Liebert® MCV high density condenser, able to take advantage of existing DX infrastructure
Pumped Refrigerant Economization (PRE) efficiency and reliably cools pods of high-density racks without the need for chilled water
Variable speed pumps allow for variation in flow of PRE based on load demand
Modular design supports redundancy needs by allowing units to function independently or in Teamwork mode
Dual power with reversing started and supercap for additional redundancy and quick start/restart
