Data center operators understand that prioritizing usage compliance for refrigerant compounds with low global warming potential (GWP) has several benefits from the perspective of the environment, business, and economics. However, the transition to low GWP refrigerants also presents challenges that both decision-makers and practitioners must prepare for.
In this webinar, we discuss the following topics:
- The business benefits, challenges, and risks that operators will face as they transition their data centers to low GWP refrigerants, including the changing mandates and systems on the sale and use of the refrigerants, regional nuances, and the properties of the refrigerants themselves.
- The potential concerns of operators in deploying systems and handling the refrigerants, including the change management overview in replacing systems.
- The approach that operators can take as they adopt the use of these new refrigerants and the potential opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
