This rechargeable battery addresses the drawbacks of traditional Valve-Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries. While VRLAs are less expensive, these heavier batteries no doubt consume more real estate, require more intensive cooling, and need more frequent replacement, whereas lithium-ion batteries are compact, have a longer battery life and are more cost-effective and sustainable in the long run.
