Replacement program to extend the service life of capacitors for Liebert® Series 600T/610 UPS units
Columbus, Ohio – (March 14, 2017) – Vertiv™, formerly Emerson Network Power, today announces a joint effort with SBE Inc., a leading developer of film capacitor solutions. Vertiv’s adoption of SBE’s Power Ring Film Capacitor™ technology will give customers with a Liebert® Series 600T/610 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) unit a replacement option that significantly extends service life when compared to traditional capacitor technology.
“We have worked with SBE for more than 18 months to ensure their patented technology is right for critical data center applications,” said Dave Saliaris, vice president of global lifecycle management, Vertiv. “The result will be an upgrade program using the latest capacitor technology to enhance performance and reliability of input and output filters in select UPS systems.
Only available through Vertiv, this capacitor upgrade service is for Liebert Series 600T/610 UPS units with 625 kVA, 750 kVA, and 1 MVA capacities. It is ideally suited for those units that are 10 years old or newer. These premiere capacitors run longer and at lower operating temperatures, extending service life for a lower total cost of ownership.
