Early in the pandemic in 2020, more than 1,000 Vertiv Partners joined us for the first virtual Vertiv Partner Summit, one of the largest North American trade show events in the IT and Data Center industry. Our partner attendees gave such positive feedback that we decided to host a springtime 2021 Virtual Partner Summit. We’re very excited to use the lessons and successes from the 2020 Summit to take our Vertiv Partner Summit 2021 to a higher level.

Virtual events are a great way to meet and learn while respecting travel restrictions and social distancing. This is also an opportunity to host partners who typically have time or budget constraints that keep them from joining us in person. We’re expecting an even higher number of attendees this year. Given that last year’s event was our record for partner summit attendance, we look forward to breaking another participation record. On top of having the ability to network with over one thousand like-minded IT professionals, our agenda includes some extremely prestigious internal and external industry keynote speakers, as well as enhancements to last year’s virtual trade show environment. If that’s not enough for you, we’re also giving away Vertiv-branded care packages to the first five hundred registrants for the event!

Guest Keynote: The Art of Disruption
Guy Kawasaki, Canva Chief Evangelist
We are pleased to host Guy Kawasaki, world-famous evangelist, author, podcast host, and keynote speaker. He initially emerged from Apple as the leader responsible for marketing the original Macintosh computer in the 1980’s. After leaving Apple, he worked at ACIUS, started Fog City Software, co-founded Garage Technology, established Truemors and Alltop, then joined Google as an advisor for Motorola in 2004. Since then, Kawasaki has become the Chief Evangelist for Canva, joined the board of advisors for a host of organizations, and amassed millions of followers on social media.
Leadership Panel: Disrupting the Status Quo - Lessons from Winning Now, Winning Later
Vertiv Chief Executive Officer – Rob Johnson, Executive Chairman – David M. Cote, and President of North America – John Hewitt
The best way to learn about Vertiv’s strategy and philosophy – an executive keynote panel featuring Vertiv CEO, Rob Johnson; Executive Chairman, David M. Cote; and President of North America, John Hewitt. Rob Johnson brings decades of industry experience to the table, working at American Power Conversion (APC) from 1997 to 2007. In 2007 as CEO, he led the company’s acquisition by Schneider Electric for $6.1 billion.
John Hewitt, with Vertiv since October of 2017, is responsible for the company’s business development and operations in the United States, Latin America, and Canada. Previously, John held a variety of global P&L, strategy, business development, and financial leadership roles with Motorola, TE Connectivity, and Aptiv globally.
David M. Cote, previously CEO of industrial behemoth, Honeywell, grew the organization’s market capitalization from $20 billion to nearly $120 billion. Prior to joining Honeywell in 2002, Cote worked for General Electric and TRW Inc. In the summer of 2020, he authored Winning Now, Winning Later, demonstrating how you can hit your short-term goals without sacrificing long-term growth. In this panel, the leadership team will share insights on how Vertiv leverage Winning Now, Winning Later strategies to help cope with the challenges faced during COVID-19.
