Benefits

  • ELIMINATE CUSTOM SWITCHGEAR COMPLEXITY: The unit arrives as a complete, pre-certified assembly with no per-project engineering drawings, no one-off certification, and no custom coordination studies. Teams order a catalog SKU, receive a tested unit, and commission it on site.
  • COORDINATE SELECTIVELY WITHOUT EXTERNAL ENGINEERING: Built-in adjustable LSI electronic trip units support selective coordination in high-fault-current environments.
  • CONTROL AND ISOLATE AT THE BRANCH: Every branch breaker accepts a 24VDC shunt trip for remote circuit isolation, integration with optical arc detection, load-shedding during AI training runs, and NFPA 70E maintenance procedures without entering the arc-flash boundary.
  • STANDARDIZE ON ONE PLATFORM: All four ratings share the same 90 x 38 x 16-inch enclosure, simplifying procurement, reducing spare-parts inventory, and allowing teams to deploy different ratings across a campus without the need to manage multiple products.
  • VALIDATE POWER QUALITY AT COMMISSIONING: Event-triggered waveform capture records sub-cycle disturbances with NTP-synchronized timestamps, logging up to 1,000 events at 1ms precision for GPU-cluster validation and time-stamped billing evidence.

Features

  • MCCB TECHNOLOGY: With built-in MCCB technology and an adjustable electronic trip unit, this RPP delivers higher power levels than miniature circuit breakers and holds up to 22 three-pole breakers rated 60A, 100A, or 150A at 35kA AIC.
  • SCALABLE CURRENT RATING: It delivers scalable current ratings: 600A, 800A, 1,000A, and 1,200A on a single platform, with a 100%-rated main breaker at 65kA AIC and no derating at full load.
  • REVENUE-GRADE METERING: With Vertiv™ Liebert® DPM metering, it delivers 0.5%-accurate, revenue-grade measurement at both input and branch-circuit levels with individual current transformers on every branch and power-quality waveform capture.
  • 9-INCH COLOR TOUCHSCREEN HMI: The unit features a 9-inch color touchscreen HMI with a one-line diagram, communicates natively over Modbus TCP, SNMP, and BACnet IP, and sends notifications via HTTPS, email, or SMS.
  • EASY DEPLOYMENT: It features front-only service access with no rear clearance, top cable entry with conduit openings, an IBC-validated UBC Zone 3 seismic rating, and side-by-side, back-to-back, wall-mounted, and standalone deployment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Traditional panelboard RPPs use miniature circuit breakers with limited current ratings, lower interrupt capacity, and fixed trip curves. The Vertiv™ PowerStation 3100 RPP uses molded-case circuit breakers (MCCBs) with adjustable electronic trip units, delivering 600A–1,200A inputs, up to 22 three-pole branch breakers, and up to 150A per circuit, giving operators greater capacity, more circuits, and configurable protection in one panel.
The Vertiv™ PowerStation 3100 RPP covers 600A, 800A, 1,000A, and 1,200A configurations within the same 90 x 38 x 16-inch enclosure. Standardizing on a single platform simplifies procurement, reduces spare-parts inventory, and allows teams to deploy different ratings across a campus without the need to learn or manage multiple products.
The unit integrates with BMS and EPMS platforms natively over Modbus TCP, SNMP, and BACnet IP. Metering delivers 0.5% accuracy at both input and branch-circuit levels, with individual current transformers on every branch circuit. The unit sends notifications for potential overloads and other events via HTTPS, email, or SMS.
No. All service access is from the front, with no rear clearance required. Top cable entry accommodates conductors, eliminating the need for raised-floor infrastructure. The unit is compatible with raised-floor or slab installations and supports side-by-side, back-to-back, wall-mount, and standalone orientations.
