Santiago, [January 20, 2020] - Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced the launch for its Latin American markets of Vertiv™ Environet™, a comprehensive monitoring system solution that collects the information required to efficiently manage data centers on the edge of the network, transforming the complex into simple.
Environet offers visibility and management of the data center environment, giving customers and users holistic and real-time access to the connected devices. Through its interactive interface, it provides critical information to make intelligent decisions quickly and confidently. Environet uses common protocols to communicate with the data center and facility infrastructure to obtain critical data and information on the status of monitored devices. These values provide alarm notifications, are stored for historical reports and are displayed within a web browser using HTML editable graphics.

The monitoring system has multiple interactive views on global, site and device level, which summarize the alarm details, display of the status of devices, rooms and sites to provide users with actionable and easy-to-read data. This makes it easy to know where action is necessary and offers greater clarity in an often-complex environment.
Environet enables access to an advanced, automated and customized report created from the data of all aspects of the system, such as power, cooling, environment, racks, assets and tenants, among others. Being able to execute reports manually or schedule them in advance for delivery saves time, improves efficiency and allows for proactively managing devices. Likewise, the management tools help to pinpoint available space and device locations, for a more efficient administration of power and space.
Environet is compatible with rack power distribution units (rPDUs), uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS), room-level PDUs, battery banks, remote power panels (RPP), branch circuit monitoring (BCM), row level and room level cooling units, chilled water systems, switch gear control equipment, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS) and static transfer (STS), fire panels, leak detection, supply power meters and equipment that communicate through standard protocols.
