Buenos Aires, [October 21, 2025] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global leader in digital critical infrastructure, today announced its official distribution partnership with Grupo Datco, a regional expert in infrastructure provision services, connectivity, consulting, and end-to-end management of technology projects. The collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening Vertiv's presence in Latin America and meeting the growing demand for critical digital infrastructure solutions in Argentina and Chile, at a time when artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) continue to transform the data center landscape.
When considering data center openings, two elements take precedence: the availability of connectivity and power. The high-capacity, low-latency fiber optic network deployed by Silica Networks, a Grupo Datco company, covers South America's Southern Cone from the Tropic of Capricorn to Southern Patagonia, favoring the selection of data center locations based on cooling costs, proximity to information consumption centers, and availability of abundant and affordable energy.
