Vertiv LATAM regional leaders shared insights on data center industry performance and gave partners tools to boost their businesses in 2023.
México [Oct. 26, 2022] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of continuity solutions and critical digital infrastructure, held the LATAM Partner Summit 2022 virtually on October 20.
The event offered participants more than six hours of content in three languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English) and multiple formats. The program included seven panels and presentations with Vertiv specialists, six think tank sessions, and two international speakers, including John Price, general managing director of Americas Market Intelligence, and Maria Paula Duque, sustainability lead of Microsoft LATAM.
This year’s Partner Summit had as its central theme "An ecosystem with purpose", inviting the different players in the data center industry (operators, distributors, and manufacturers) to work together to boost the economic growth of the sector and be prepared to face external threats that are impacting Latin America.
“The data center industry is experiencing a moment of exceptional growth. However, it has also been affected by economic pressure, such as the supply crisis and the rise of fuel prices. To boost business in this reality, it is key for the players involved in the industry to develop a robust collaboration ecosystem, allowing them to be successful in their businesses”, said Saida Ortiz, channel director for Vertiv Latin America.

During the live broadcast, leaders shared their analysis on topics such as the growth of investment in the regional data center market, business trends for 2023 and new technologies that support the development of the industry and the growing needs for sustainable data center operations. In addition, they provided tools to strengthen alliances with other actors and create a successful commercial collaboration.
