Comprehensive switchgear services from Vertiv™ include a systematic preventive maintenance to detect and correct potential problems before they become major issues requiring expensive and time-consuming solutions. Our engineers perform visual and mechanical inspections, as well as electrical tests on all areas of switchgear and switchboard assemblies. Maintenance also includes Thermography surveys using our industry qualified Thermographers.

- Switchgear is stripped and visually inspected were appropriate
- Full intrusive mechanical service
- Load contacts are cleaned and low ohmic value tested and recorded
- Arc chutes removed inspected and cleaned
- Auxiliary switch function and resistance tested
- Operating coils and spring charge motors inspected, and resistance checked and recorded (if appropriate)
- Protection relays injection tested, and trip times recorded
- Electrical thermal imaging surveys can identify defects such as poor connections, over loaded cables and faulty electrical equipment
