Vertiv Extends Distribution Agreement with ASBIS to Cover Baltic States

December 10, 2021

Value-added distributor now offers Vertiv data center infrastructure solutions in six EMEA countries

Warsaw, [10 of December 2021 r.] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and business continuity solutions, has entered into a new distribution agreement with ASBIS (WSE: ASB), a leading value-added distributor, developer and provider of IT and IoT products, solutions and services in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets. Vertiv is already working with ASBIS in Romania, Bulgaria and Cyprus, and the agreement just signed will extend the cooperation to the markets of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The ASBIS portfolio will be complemented with Vertiv solutions for uninterruptible power supply (UPS), precision air conditioning, power distribution, rack cabinets and IT management systems, including Vertiv’s internationally recognized brands, such as Liebert® UPS and cooling systems, Geist™ rack power distributions units (rPDUs) and Avocent® remote access and infrastructure monitoring.

The agreement increases regional availability of Vertiv technologies to support edge computing, IoT and 5G implementations, and provides more local support for resellers and integrators. Vertiv will also offer maintenance and services in the region.

“The expansion of our distribution partnership with Vertiv to additional countries is evidence of strong collaboration,” said Costas Tziamalis, Board Member of ASBIS Enterprises PLC. “Extending our products portfolio aimed at business is very important to us, which is why we want to increase even more our competences in the area of infrastructure for data centers, and Vertiv has a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services that help address the increasingly complex requirements of end customers in the field of critical infrastructure,” he added.

“We want to be as close to our partners as possible, which is why increasing our presence in the Baltic states was crucial for us” said Ante Maršić, Channel Sales Leader from Vertiv for Central and Eastern Europe. “Reliable solutions, local sales support, dedicated trainings and a partnership program with attractive financial incentives - I am convinced that resellers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will be able to benefit from them even more thanks to the extended cooperation with ASBIS,” he concluded.

The agreement entered into force in December this year and resellers can now place orders for Vertiv solutions from ASBIS. Additional information on the Vertiv Partner Program can be found at Partners.Vertiv.com.
