Vertiv™ Liebert® GXT5 Lithium-Ion online UPS protects critical IT applications against outages and power disturbances. It offers highest level of power conditioning and battery backup in server rooms, network closets, and other edge or distributed IT locations. Lithium-Ion batteries require fewer battery replacements and last up to 3x as long as VRLA batteries reducing maintenance, labor, and replacement costs (lower TCO). Hot-swappable, user-replaceable batteries increase the useable life of the UPS.

- 1000VA – 3000VA: Wide range of capacities allow you to select the power and runtime that best meet your needs.
- Optimized form factors: Rack/Tower convertible form factors provide flexibility at sites with variable installation needs.
- Superior Battery Technology: Lithium-Ion batteries require fewer battery replacements and last up to 3x as long as traditional VRLA batteries, reducing maintenance, labor, and replacement costs (resulting in the lowest TCO). Internal batteries offer industry-leading runtime (up to 14 minutes at full load) to protect critical equipment during an unexpected power loss.
- High Performance: Lithium-Ion battery technology offers better performance at higher temperatures, supports up to 10 times more discharge cycles, and delivers faster recharge times compared to VRLA batteries.
- Scalable runtime: When longer runtime is desired, External Battery Cabinets (EBC) may be added to increase runtime and availability of your connected devices. EBCs are auto-detected, so no user configuration is necessary.
- Lowest total cost of ownership: Lithium-ion batteries last up to 3 times as long as VRLA batteries, resulting in fewer battery replacements, saving time and money.
- Online double conversion topology: Reliable online double conversion topology isolates connected equipment from utility power disturbances while providing top-of-the-line voltage/frequency regulation and surge protection. It is generator-friendly with zero transfer time and features an internal automatic bypass.
- Pure sinewave output: Pure sinewave output while on battery simulates utility power and is compatible with active power factor corrected power supplies.
- High output power factor: 0.9 to unity power factor provides more actual power to the load, increasing power density.
- Color gravity-sensing LCD display: An intuitive LCD display that provides UPS status, power metrics, configuration options, alarms, and fault codes to manage the UPS.
- Internal and external bypass: Automatic internal bypass provides seamless power to the connected load in the unlikely event of a system issue. Optional external maintenance bypass supports the load during planned maintenance or UPS upgrades.
- Sustainable: Lithium-ion batteries use less material for equal output and up to 99% of the battery elements are recyclable. The longer lifespan of a lithium-ion battery reduces waste and material consumption.
- Safe and reliable: Safest lithium-ion (LiFePO4) battery chemistry and integrated Battery Management System (BMS) ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Battery Management System (BMS): The BMS monitors the lithium-ion battery health at the cell level. It manages charging, depth of discharge, temperature, and voltage. The BMS prevents overcharging, ensures safe operation, and preserves battery life.
- User-replaceable, hot-swappable batteries: User-replaceable batteries may be swapped out quickly and safely without disruption and without turning off connected equipment.
- Individual programmable outlets: Configurable outlets for load management. Cycle power to hung devices and shed load from connected equipment, prioritizing critical devices to extend availability while on battery backup power.
- Energy Star 2.0 Certified: A government certification for energy efficiency. This product meets strict energy-efficiency specifications that reduce energy consumption, saving money and helping protect the environment.
- Generator friendly design: Integrates seamlessly into site power infrastructure.
- Input circuit breaker: Re-settable breaker protects against equipment damage from a short circuit or overload.
- Network grade surge protection: Network grade surge protection meets ANSI C62.41, Category B standards, providing a high level of input surge protection.
- Emergency Power Off (EPO): Remote UPS shutoff in the event of a fire or other onsite emergency.
- Communication ports: USB and Serial ports support monitoring and management of the UPS.
- Optional management and communication cards: Intellislot™ enables network integration connectivity and allows remote monitoring, startup, or restart of connected equipment. SNMP, Modbus, BACnet, and environmental sensor options are available.
- Free management software: Power Assist software enables local management via USB with simple configuration, monitoring, alarm notifications, and UPS management. Automatic shutdown protects connected equipment during extended power loss and prevents data loss. Power Insight software provides on-premise and remote UPS monitoring and management with notifications and control of network-connected devices. Includes configurable automatic shutdown for physical and virtual servers, plus integrations with VMware vCenter, Dell VxRail Manager, and Nutanix Prism Central.
- 5-year warranty: Complete coverage on UPS including batteries.
- Equipment Protection Plan (EPP): $500,000 Equipment Protection Plan provides reimbursement or replacement of connected equipment damaged by a power surge while connected to your Vertiv UPS.
- Trade-In program: Trade in an aging Vertiv or competitor UPS for a new equivalent Vertiv UPS at a discount. Vertiv manages collection and disposal of the old UPS at no cost.
