Network switches typically sit at the top and rear of the cabinet, making it difficult for cold air to channel through to their air intakes. This causes network switches to overheat, reducing their life and even causing equipment failure. SwitchAir was developed to provide an air conduit from the cold aisle directly to the air intakes of the network switch to ensure an adequate supply of cool air for optimal operating conditions.
The SwitchAir is available in a variety of configurations to accommodate a wide range of network switches. Each unit is designed to ensure an optimal flow of cool air to the installed switch. The SwitchAir accommodates front, rear, and side switch intakes.
