Vertiv India Strengthens Partner Engagement Amid Global Health Crisis

With the nationwide lockdown having an indefinite timeline, it stands to reason that the sales and customer engagement process would have to undergo a major refinement. Vertiv India decided to engage with our channel partner community to support them and their customers via digital initiatives, helping them develop and implement business continuity plans. It’s this continual support system that empowers our partners to seamlessly keep in touch with our customers.

As a matter of fact, almost every country is trying its level best to sustain the current crisis which has resulted in a tremendous slowdown of activities in business. This unforeseen pandemic has strongly impacted various aspects of finance, creating limited TWC (Trade Working Capital) in the channel business segment.

To mitigate this predicament among our channel businesses, we at Vertiv India are making the most of the lockdown period by staying engaged.  We are continuously utilizing digital platforms to connect with customers, partners, and even internal resources daily. Here are some of our key activities:

  1. Digital campaigns – Electronic direct mailers (EDMs to customers, partners, and resellers are being regularly sent through mass communication campaigns. Furthermore, we have encouraged partners to also circulate these EDMs to their customer network to further convey the benefits of Vertiv solutions.
  2. Customer connect – Regular social media posts of the latest happenings, product launches, and other technology-related updates are being shared with a huge audience to keep our broader industry engaged.  
  3. Partner training and development resources – More than 250 representatives from partners including business partners and resellers have participated in frequently conducted product trainings. These events include participation from our internal channel business team members.

Vertiv India’s remote learning programs have gained a lot of traction, including video streaming and online classroom education. These programs are providing are enhancing resource capabilities and increasing awareness of product technology solutions to potential customers. has Additionally, they help us build a strong foundation for partners with well engaged prospects that can be converted to customers when business resumes to normal.

The cumulative effect of all these quality interactions and engagements (be it around product offerings, service support, training, or process and policy alignment) has helped the Vertiv India channel community to get assertive and productive during normal business routines.

Much like the idiom that advises to “Sharpen your axe when you’re off the battlefield,” Vertiv India aims to enhance productivity during this unprecedented time by evolving and transforming resources that can provide better support and solutions to customers.
