The 1 kVA rated uninterruptible power supply system provides total isolation from the mains for protection from a spectrum of power anomalies
Mumbai, India [December 15, 2021] – Vertiv, (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today introduced the Liebert® GXT MT+ CX4 1K SB, a true double conversion online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system with an inbuilt battery designed to provide a capacity of 1 kVA. This solution is available now in India.
With several organizations going back to a work from home model due to the second wave of COVID-19 in India, UPS systems that support remote working have become a requirement for availability. The resultant increased loads on data centers have also made power back-up solutions critical in supporting business continuity, including increasingly critical small and remote applications.
Liebert GXT MT+ CX4 1K SB provides complete protection of the load from the mains aberrations, along with an inbuilt battery and a compact design that makes the system ideal to support work-from-home, data networks, small data centers and VOIP applications. The UPS has a 50/60 Hz automatic frequency converter mode and an inbuilt over voltage cutoff device (OVCD). The UPS features a new graphical LCD display which provides UPS status, load level, battery level, input/output voltage and discharge timer. It also automatically sets off alarms in case of any battery malfunctions or overload, and helps in faults diagnostics and trouble shooting.
Fluctuating input power can impact the operation and health of connected equipment. Data centers and other critical applications require robust and flexible power solutions to help them run round the clock. The Liebert GXT MT+ CX4 1K SB is equipped with true online double conversion with digital signing process (DSP) control technology to ensure high performance and reliability. It has a double conversion efficiency of up to 89% and can adapt to any environment for optimized battery performance. Additionally, the new UPS has an insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) based rectifier, and has a wide input frequency range compatible with generator operation.
