Subhasis Majumdar

VP/General Manager, India

Subhasis Majumdar was named VP/General Manager of Vertiv India in 2023. and is responsible for leading the company’s operations, commercial strategy, and organizational growth across the country. Based in Mumbai, he oversees the full spectrum of Vertiv’s business in India, including customer engagement, operational performance, and regional execution.

Subhasis joined Vertiv in 2018 as Vice President Finance and CFO for the India region, where he led financial strategy, compliance, and performance management during a key period of growth. He was named Managing Director of Vertiv India in 2021. Prior to joining Vertiv, he held leadership roles at Dresser-Rand, a Siemens business, serving as Director of Finance for the global New Equipment division from 2014 to 2018, and as Finance Controller (CFO) for India from 2010 to 2014.

Subhasis was Vice President, Finance & Deputy Controller for PepsiCo India’s Foods business from 2007 to 2010, where he oversaw operations finance, commercial planning, and shared services. He also held finance leadership roles at GE Healthcare as Finance Manager from 2006 to 2007, at Philips Healthcare as Senior Financial Analyst from 2004 to 2006, and at Tata Cummins as Finance Executive from 2000 to 2004, managing business planning, statutory reporting, budgeting, and treasury activities across various regions in India. He began his career in 1999 at Raymond Limited as a Budgeting and Financial Reporting Analyst.

Subhasis is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
