What is the difference between passive and active standby?
A
With Active Standby the inverter is being constantly monitored offering greater reliability and can provide an almost instantaneous changeover making it an ideal option to meet the changeover requirements as required by BS EN 50171:2001 for Hazardous Areas.

Can we have a battery other than VRLA?

Yes. We can offer Lead Acid vented cells and also Nickel Cadmium

What standby duration can I have?
A
The most common durations are 1 hour and 3 hour for emergency lighting applications. However systems can be designed and manufactured to meet your project specific requirements.

Can you supply ancillary equipment for control of the emergency circuits and for testing?
A
